THE NAME

Free Peoples Rebellion pays homage to the history of Liberia, which was founded and colonized by freed slaves in America who wanted to move back to Africa.

It also describes the company's customer as well, someone who has a rebellious fashion sense and the free will to choose to make a difference.

Partial proceeds from the accessory line are donated to youth organizations in Liberia.

THE COMPANY

Free Peoples Rebellion is a modern and spirited line focused on incorporating African aesthetic in everyday wear through accessories.

Founded by Sarah Williams in 2008, Free Peoples Rebellion looks to find innovative ways to use African fabric in each of its handmade items.
